Even More Investigations

Kenosha County Cemetery
When: January 19, 2006 @ 8:00 pm (Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin)
Who went: R. Shatkins, C. Shatkins, C. Ricard, and J. Desotell
Weather conditions: Unseasonably warm (approx. 47 degrees)
Reason for the investigation: While researching reported hauntings in the S.E. Wisconsin and Kenosha area, I came across a website which listed Kenosha County Cemetery as being haunted. The article erroneousley listed this cemetery as being named "Paupers Cemetery", and had it listed as being in Kenosha. The cemetery is actually located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and has never been called "Paupers Cemetery", although many unknown and indigent souls had been laid to rest there.
This is a very sad and forgotten place. The cemetery is completely unadorned. There are no flowers, staturary, or religious symbols whatsoever. One investigator reported that he kept hearing noises which seemed to be coming from the rear of the property. Results of the evening are inconclusive, with nothing turning up on the audio recordings. Only one photo contained some kind of anomalous red streak in the NE corner of the cemetery. Other photos had the usual controversial orbs present.

Spring Brook Cemetery
When: January 19, 2006 @ 9:30 p.m. (Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin)
Who went: R Shatkins, C. Shatkins, C. Ricard, and J. Desotell
Weather: Unseasonably warm for January
Reason for the investigations: Strange feelings of being watched reported by a few neighbors; same neighbors do not like driving past here at night.

This photo was taken in Burlington, WI on a haunted woods tour on 10/29/05. It was taken by a cameraphone, so the picture is very grainy. She held her cigarette lighter up to her face so I could snap a photo.I was sitting on a Manitou stone looking up at her as she was standing. As you can see, it was pitch black out there. I personally believe this apparition to be her totem. It looks like a dog or wolf to me.
